The first wave of YouBike public bicycles was officially launched in the five townships of Puzi City, Taibao City, Minxiong Township, Shuishang Township, and Zhongpu Township in Chiayi County, with a total of 60 stations set up. From now until July next year, residents who join YouBike as members can enjoy a free first 30 minutes of bicycle rental. Completion of 'Public Bicycle Injury Insurance' by August 31 this year also makes them eligible for a lucky draw. The Chiayi County government plans to expand the bike stations, aiming to have at least 130 stations and 1000 bicycles by the end of this year.
