Fishermen in Rio de Janeiro have started using an app called 'De Olho na Guanabara' to document and report water pollution in Guanabara Bay. Launched by environmental groups, the app allows registered users to submit complaints and share evidence of pollution, such as photos and videos. Since its release, 70 users have joined, leading to numerous reports of chemical and oil spills. Environmentalists and local authorities are hopeful that this initiative will raise awareness and encourage action against ongoing pollution issues in this iconic region.
