The Central Weather Bureau has issued a heavy rain warning as convective cloud systems develop, with the possibility of short-duration heavy rain in certain areas, including Changhua and northward, Nantou, Yilan, and Hualien on June 18. Thunderstorms and strong winds are expected, with caution advised for landslides and rockfalls in mountainous regions. Taichung and Nantou are particularly affected by intense thunderstorms until 15:45. The public is urged to be mindful of the weather changes with temperatures ranging from 31 to 34 degrees in various regions.
