On June 24, 2024, at around 3:10 p.m., the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs issued flood alerts for certain areas in Hsinchu County, New Taipei City, and Taipei City. Affected areas include Wanhua District in Taipei City, Zhonghe District and Yonghe District in New Taipei City, and Jianshi Township in Hsinchu County. Floods were reported on Huanhedong Road towards Xindian, causing vehicles to break down and block the road. Residents are advised to stay vigilant and stay safe during this heavy rainfall.
