Fly-chase for 5KM in a Car-Smashing Incident

Reported about 1 year ago

In this street car-smashing incident, the victim chased the suspect for over 5 kilometers from Shilin to Beitou in Taipei. The victim strangely did not alert the authorities while being chased and even turned to chase the suspect, leading to suspicions. Advice for similar situations includes not opening the car door, recording the suspect's face and license plate, or honking to attract attention. With dashcams becoming a standard, it is recommended to stay inside the vehicle, lock the car doors, and adjust car direction to capture the suspect on camera for evidence and police assistance. If without a dashcam, using a phone to record and honking to attract attention can help reduce harm in confrontations. The incident highlights the importance of avoiding violence and using appropriate channels for assistance.
