As summer approaches, Fengyuan Police Substation launched the 'Summer Youth Special Operation' on June 30, expanding inspections and focusing on venues frequently visited by teenagers at night such as KTVs, nightclubs, internet cafes, and restricted electronic gaming arcades. They are also cracking down on illegally added 'Eutamine' in electronic cigarettes and their sources. Additionally, the police are conducting the 'Silent City Operation' to crack down on street racing and noisy vehicles in Gonglaoping, preventing it from becoming a gathering place for modified vehicles affecting the local environment. Fengyuan Police are determined to safeguard the summer youth and understand the late-night activities of youths. Eutamine is a short-acting anesthetic commonly known as 'head rush electronic cigarette', which may contain controlled substances such as MDMA, ketamine, and synthetic marijuana ingredients, leading to serious health issues. The police are strengthening efforts to combat the illegal addition of 'Eutamine' in electronic cigarettes. Superintendent Lin emphasized the importance of vigilance against drug temptations to avoid negative consequences, urging parents to monitor their children's summer activities and participate in meaningful, positive events to prevent them from engaging in illicit activities. The police will enhance efforts against drug, fraud, organized crime, and other cases during the summer holiday, working with various government agencies on joint operations to crack down on illegal activities and ensure public safety. Fengyuan Police urge parents to pay attention to their children's summer activities and work together with the community to maintain the safety of young people for a peaceful and enjoyable summer.
