Ford: EVs, hybrids drive May vehicle sales

Ford reported an 11.2% increase in vehicle sales in May, attributing the growth to strong demand for their electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid models. CEO Jim Farley emphasized Ford's diverse vehicle offerings, stating that the future of the auto industry will include a mix of EVs, hybrids, and internal combustion engines. Despite the EVs currently operating at a loss, Ford experienced significant growth in overall sales for the month.
