Ford is planning additional job cuts in Germany, Spain, and the UK, according to the head of Ford's worker's council in Germany. The restructuring plan, which follows a previous round of cuts, aims at reducing personnel due to the shift towards electric vehicle production. Ford has already completed half of a previous plan to cut 2,300 jobs in Germany, with the current plan expected to be decided upon by the end of June. In Spain, Ford also plans to cut up to 1,600 jobs at its Valencia assembly plant.
