Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Mexico reached $39 billion in the first five months of 2024, showing a growth compared to the same period in 2023. The majority of investments came from the United States, followed by Germany and Argentina. Investments were mainly seen in the manufacturing, transportation, and trade sectors. Companies from various industries, including high-tech, automotive, and aerospace, are increasingly looking to invest in Mexico, focusing on long-term strategic vision and future-proofing their interests.
