Foreign investors have ramped up their sales of Vietnamese stocks recently, driven by rising trade risks, despite expectations of a market upgrade later this year that could boost valuations. In February alone, net selling reached 4.2 trillion dong, with foreign investors pulling back significantly from Vietnamese equities. This trend is reflected in the overall net selling statistics, which have outpaced those in larger Asian markets, as concerns grow over potential tariffs from the U.S. and the current geopolitical climate.
