Former chairman of Taiwan Land Development Company, Qiu Fusheng, and five others are being investigated for allegedly falsifying financial reports through false transactions. After being summoned by the Taipei City Investigation Bureau, Qiu Fusheng and the others were required to post bail, with Qiu Fusheng needing to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet and face travel restrictions. The investigation is focused on suspected violations of the Securities and Exchange Act. Current managing director, financial officer, and other officials were also summoned for questioning.
