The former chief administrator of Jihsui Elementary School in New Taipei City, Chen Zhenhao, was released on bail of 200,000 NT dollars after being suspected of accepting bribery from the owner of Run Xiang Company, Qiu Xianghao, during a school tendering process in 2019. Following a search operation by authorities on the 27th, Chen Zhenhao was accused of violating the Anti-Corruption Act for accepting bribes, while Qiu Xianghao was accused of bribery and released on bail of 100,000 NT dollars.
