Michael Brumley, a former MLB player who served as the hitting coach for the Uni-President Lions in 2016, passed away in a car accident at the age of 61. The accident occurred in Mississippi, USA on the evening of the 15th. Brumley played for teams like the Red Sox, Cubs, Tigers, Mariners, Astros, and Athletics in his MLB career. After retiring as a player, he also coached in minor leagues for the Rangers and Dodgers, as well as coached for the Mariners and Cubs before joining the Uni-President Lions in 2016.
