Former NASCAR Cup Series driver Tighe Scott, along with his son Jarret, was arrested for their alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, charged with felonies and misdemeanors for assaulting police during the event. Scott, 75, who competed in 89 races over six seasons, was identified as a former NASCAR driver by a witness. The riot was incited by Trump supporters protesting his election loss to President Joe Biden.
