Former National Security Bureau Chief Liu Guanjun, accused of embezzling national security funds and fleeing, had his and his wife's assets, including a luxury mansion in Taipei's Wenshan District, auctioned off for 42,175,000 million Taiwanese dollars through three rounds of bidding, with an additional premium of 4,875,000 million Taiwanese dollars. The mansion, purchased in his wife's name, attracted many bidders due to its location in an educational district and deferred possession after the auction.
