Tony Kirik, the former owner of Dallas Logistics in Rochester, New York, was found guilty by a federal jury for providing false information to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Kirik concealed ownership and misled FMCSA by creating new companies under family members' names to appear independent from his existing business with negative safety ratings. Kirik faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, scheduled to be sentenced in October in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
