Former Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller, aged 31, has decided to retire from the NFL after playing just one season with the New York Giants. Waller informed the Giants of his retirement before the start of their minicamp. His retirement frees up $11.6 million in salary cap space for the upcoming season, with Daniel Bellinger expected to step up as New York's primary tight end.
