Former chairman of Shin Kong Life, Wu Dong-jin, was summoned for questioning regarding suspected irregularities in the investment project 'Shin Ban Jexi Fort' on June 11, 2024. He was instructed by the prosecutors to pay a bail of 100 million NT dollars. Wu left the New Taipei City Prosecutor's Office surrounded by the media but quickly departed under the protection of bodyguards pushing away cameras. After questioning, Wu promptly deposited the full bail amount. The investigation revolves around the construction of top-class residential apartments leading to an alleged loss of about 100 million NT dollars for Shin Kong Life.
