The former Trump Hotel in Washington, D.C., known for its historical significance and luxury status, has returned to its lender, BDT & MSD Partners, after a foreclosure auction. The hotel, originally purchased for $375 million, was sold for $100 million when CGI Merchant Group defaulted on a loan. Despite the auction, the Waldorf Astoria continues to operate, with the property being a notable venue in the capital.
