Former Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte earned $20.1 million in annual compensation in the last year at the helm, which included salary, allowances, variable pay, and other benefits. Delaporte resigned before the end of his five-year term in July 2025. Wipro's annual report disclosed that the compensation was to ensure a smooth transition and adherence to post-engagement obligations. The company considered French employment laws in determining the compensation. Delaporte's exit follows a trend of management changes at top Indian IT companies, with former TCS CEO Rajesh Gopinathan and Cognizant CEO Brian Humphries also receiving significant post-employment benefits.
