Fortive has raised its annual profit forecast after exceeding third-quarter sales and profit expectations, driven by high demand for its industrial automation software. The company's intelligent operating solutions segment saw revenue rise to $699 million, contributing to a projected annual adjusted earnings of $2.63 to $2.67 per share, up from previous estimates. Fortive's third-quarter adjusted profit was 68 cents per share, surpassing analyst predictions.
