Scott Foster, Tony Brothers, Marc Davis, and James Capers are among the 12 officials selected to officiate the NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks. The NBA announced the lineup two days prior to Game 1 in Boston, with Byron Spruell, NBA President, League Operations, commending their skills and commitment shown throughout the season and playoffs. The referees were chosen based on their performance in the previous playoff rounds, with Foster having officiated 24 NBA Finals games, followed by Davis and Brothers with 20 and 16 games, respectively.
