On June 10, four American teachers were stabbed while in Jilin, China. The police have arrested a 55-year-old male suspect named Cui, claiming the attack was triggered by a 'collision'. One of the victims, David Zabner, recounted the incident saying he was unexpectedly attacked by a man wielding a knife. The suspect, currently unemployed, injured the teachers who were invited to teach at Beihua University in Jilin Province. The U.S. Embassy expressed concern, and Chinese authorities stated that the incident was an 'isolated case'.
