Four lecturers from Cornell College in Iowa, USA, were attacked in Jilin, China this week, with two of them safely returning to the U.S. One of the injured lecturers, David Zabner, has already flown back to Iowa. The Iowa State Senator and Zabner's brother, Adam Zabner, expressed gratitude for the medical assistance in China and requested privacy for the family. Two injured lecturers are still in China, while officials from Iowa arranged for the injured Iowans to return to the U.S. after the incident. The incident occurred when the group went mountain climbing after a dragon boat festival event was overcrowded, resulting in an altercation with a local that led to the attack with a knife.
