During a routine press conference on June 27, SEF Vice Chairman and Spokesperson Liang Wen-jie announced that 4 out of the 10 King and Queen nominees for the upcoming Golden Melody Awards are Chinese artists. In total, 8 Chinese nationals are nominated for 16 awards, and SEF has approved 26 Chinese nationals to come to Taiwan. This positive exchange in film and television between the two sides has received support, with the hope of soon normalizing personnel exchanges between the two sides. The SEF looks forward to the upcoming awards and supports cross-strait music and film exchanges.
