On June 19, 2024, our country, Kinmen, witnessed restricted waters being repeatedly violated by Chinese Coast Guard ships. The Coast Guard Administration announced during their first routine press conference today that there were 3 Chinese Coast Guard ships in the area on the 18th, averaging 4 ships daily in the first half of June. To address Chinese intrusions through gray areas, the Coast Guard Administration plans to hold bi-weekly press conferences and may even disclose daily updates on Chinese Coast Guard ship activities in the future.
