In Taipei, on July 1, 2024, at 11:33 PM, the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office revealed that in an incident where ten men in black vandalized a police station, then-Vice Chief Yan Min-sen and three other officers concealed the incident by marking 'no abnormalities' in the police work records. They were later prosecuted for forgery, but due to their admission of guilt, they were granted deferred prosecution with the condition of fines. Another officer was also granted deferred prosecution for deleting surveillance footage. Initially, the officers were accused of falsifying reports, but further investigation revealed no malicious intent, leading to no prosecution.
