Foxconn Chairman Responds to Hiring Controversy in India

Reported about 2 months ago

Foxconn's chairman, Young Liu, has defended the company's hiring practices amid investigations by New Delhi following a Reuters report alleging that married women are systematically excluded from iPhone assembly jobs. Liu emphasized the importance of married women in the workforce during the opening of a new hostel for female employees in Tamil Nadu.
