In Kaohsiung, Taiwan, a fraud group was uncovered employing elaborate tactics by using a sun-protective jacket with a hidden camera to monitor transactions, prevent internal fraud, and evade capture during a face-to-face exchange. The 25-year-old courier, upon being caught by the police, swiftly removed the jacket due to the intense heat caused by the covert camera, comparing the situation to a sauna. The group's sophisticated scheme aimed at ensuring transaction safety backfired when the jacket's batteries overheated, leading to their exposure and arrest for fraud-related charges.
