French antitrust enforcers are readying to bring charges against Nvidia Corp. for alleged anticompetitive practices, making it the first agency in the world to do so. The investigation follows a raid on Nvidia offices last year as regulatory scrutiny on the chipmaker intensifies due to its prominent role in the AI chip sector. Nvidia's shares dipped but mostly recovered after the news broke, with its valuation exceeding $3 trillion. Other regulatory bodies in the US, EU, China, and UK are also examining Nvidia's business practices.
