In recent fashion chaos in France, the Chanel boutique near Avenue Montaigne in Paris was robbed with an estimated loss of 10 million euros, around NT$3.4 billion, after being ram-raided by four thieves who looted the store and set their getaway car on fire. Chanel confirmed the robbery, resulting in a total estimated loss of 1 million euros, approximately NT$3.5 billion. Additionally, a murder case unfolded related to the Hermès proxy purchase circle, involving a Chinese influencer installing GPS in luxury bags and orchestrating thefts, ultimately leading to a fatal altercation in Paris last year.
