The three major political groups competing in the French legislative election have proposed campaign promises that would each cost more than €10 billion per year specifically for enhancing purchasing power. The leftist New Popular Front group's promises were estimated to have the highest cost at €29 billion per year. These pledges come at a time when France is already struggling with budget deficits and facing financial challenges, prompting concerns from investors about further weakening the country's finances.
