French President Macron announced the dissolution of the lower house of parliament, the National Assembly, and called for early elections with the first round on June 30 and the second round on July 7 to elect a new National Assembly. Facing challenges in passing bills, the ruling party in Taiwan may dissolve the parliament and call for re-election if the opposition proposes a vote of no confidence. Some believe the blue and white camp would hesitate before proposing a vote of no confidence against Premier Su. If an all-round re-election of the parliament occurs, it could lead to another divisive election in society.
