In Taipei, a 23-year-old woman, Chen, confided in her 30-year-old friend, surnamed Li, about an intense argument with her boyfriend, which led Li to angrily confront the boyfriend. On the 10th of this month, Li brought a gas gun to their shared residence, despite Chen's attempts to stop him, and started shooting at the house before fleeing. The police later arrested Li and another accomplice, seizing two gas guns. Chen and Li had been friends for years, and Li decided to retaliate when he heard of Chen's distress. The incident is being investigated for intimidation charges.
