On June 21, 2024, a man named Lin, aged 31, was arrested at the Huangang Fishing Port in Keelung after fatally stabbing his 35-year-old friend, Mr. Li on Yuan Yuan Road in Nuannuan District. The police launched an investigation upon receiving the report and apprehended Lin on charges of murder. The motive behind the crime is still under investigation, while Mr. Li's body will undergo forensic examination. The incident involved a heated argument between Lin and Li, leading to the fatal stabbing and a subsequent escape attempt towards New Taipei City, where Lin was ultimately captured near the fishing port. The case has been transferred to the Keelung District Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
