In Hualien, Taiwan, two friends turned enemies after a confrontation three months ago led to one man, surnamed Li, driving his car to hit a rival's father and son, with gun violence involved. The initial dispute erupted when Li, 34, and another man, surnamed Zhang, 29, had a fight at a funeral home due to a joke gone bad. Li subsequently brought friends to beat up Zhang, leading to legal consequences for all involved. The recent clash resulted in Li running over Zhang's family members with his car and firing a gun, causing injuries and property damage. Li later surrendered to the police and faces charges of attempted murder, property damage, and assault.
