The Banqiao District Office in New Taipei City has recently completed the installation of parent-child friendly restrooms in two parks: Hua Jiang 123 Wood Park and Guang Fu Simple Park. These new facilities provide a better restroom space for children and adults visiting the parks, promoting post-pandemic public health concepts while reflecting inclusivity and friendliness in public spaces. The restroom design includes features for both adults and children, such as toilets, sinks, diaper changing stations, safety child seats, and barrier-free facilities like safety handrails and emergency call buttons. LED energy-saving lights and ventilators are also installed for a high-quality, bright, and well-ventilated restroom environment.
