New Taipei Mayor Hou Youyi visited Zhu Mingyi in Xindian District to congratulate him on being selected as the representative of this year's exemplary fathers. Zhu Mingyi, who started as a mechanic after junior high, excelled in the industry during the global financial crisis by self-learning foreign languages and innovative work. Now retired, he enjoys a diverse retirement life, playing music and engaging in sports. He encourages his children to explore the world, and all his four children have studied abroad, with his daughters expressing deep gratitude towards him, calling him a beacon in their lives. Mayor Hou presented Zhu with a saxophone bag as a gift, acknowledging his talent and inviting him to a recognition ceremony on July 21st to celebrate his exemplary fatherhood and receive blessings from the community.
