According to the Central Weather Bureau, a frontal boundary located in the Zhejiang Sea area has moved slightly southward towards Taiwan today. The weather remains unstable with brief showers expected in the morning to noon in the western half of the island and the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon, especially in the northern and central regions, Yilan, Hualien, and other mountainous areas. Temperatures across Taiwan range from 32 to 35 degrees Celsius, with a chance of heatwaves in the southeastern parts reaching over 36 degrees. The weather is forecasted to remain hot throughout the week with sporadic thunderstorms mainly in mountainous regions.
