A couple surnamed Tseng, known as 'fugitive couple', was arrested for trafficking drugs while hiding in car motels across Taiwan. Tseng was caught with a modified handgun, drugs, and drug trafficking proceeds exceeding NT$50,000. Both Tseng and his wife Chen had previous criminal records and were wanted by authorities in New Taipei and Taoyuan. The couple had been living a fugitive lifestyle engaging in drug trafficking to evade capture, but were apprehended after a police investigation traced back to them.
