Lin Jiafeng, a wanted criminal, attempted to escape on June 20, 2024, crashing into a taxi before being surrounded and captured by police. The suspect, surnamed Li (52 years old), refused to stop for police, causing a collision. When being apprehended, Li suddenly started foaming at the mouth and lost consciousness. Despite emergency medical treatment, he was pronounced dead later that evening. The police will investigate the cause of death. The incident attracted attention as it involved a fugitive collision with a taxi and subsequent arrest.
