On June 9th, 2024, a 33-year-old man surnamed Yang in Taoyuan District was wanted for involvement in a drug case and attempted to evade police by hiding at a friend's house. Taoyuan police officers from the Puzi Police Station tracked him down and apprehended him after confirming his location. Yang attempted to escape through the back door upon seeing the police at his doorstep but was surrounded and arrested. He was subsequently sent to the authorities for processing. This incident demonstrates the police's successful apprehension of a fugitive through strategic planning and coordination.
