After 42 years, funeral services have been arranged for Charles Stanton Murphy of Maywood, whose remains were recently discovered. Murphy went missing in 1982 after dropping off a friend in Ridgefield Park. His remains were found in Overpeck Creek earlier this month, leading to a memorial gathering and a funeral Mass scheduled for June 20. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to the United Search Corps Inc. Murphy, a Maywood Public Schools and Hackensack High School alum, was described as someone who enjoyed camping, baseball, cars, and spending time with loved ones.
