A group of 22 members from Fuzhou arrived in Nangan, Matsu for a 3-day tour, marking the first tourist group to visit Taiwan post-pandemic. The group mainly composed of 'post-90s' individuals are visiting Matsu for the first time to explore the local tourism resources and attractions. The itinerary includes visits to various Matsu landmarks like Ma Zu Distillery, Beihai Tunnels to witness the Blue Tears phenomenon, Ma Zu Temple, and more. The county officials welcomed the group with a grand ceremony, showcasing lion dances and flower wreaths, despite the sweltering weather. The trip is scheduled to end on July 1st, symbolizing a significant step in post-pandemic tourism exchanges between Taiwan and mainland China.
