The Mainland Affairs Council announced the travel advisory for visits to China was raised from 'yellow' to 'orange', advising against non-essential travel. Despite concerns about the impact on Fujian tour operators visiting Matsu, the tour group arrived smoothly on Nan Gan, Matsu, consisting of mostly first-time young visitors in the tourism industry. The group was originally scheduled for June 10-12 but was postponed to the 29th. They will embark on a 3-day, 2-night itinerary, visiting various attractions before returning to Fuzhou on July 1st.
