The funeral of Wu Tongtan, founder of the Tiandao Alliance and president of the Sun Alliance who passed away on May 22, is expected to take place on July 9 in Keelung. Notable figures from various gangs are anticipated to attend, with police estimating over 5,000 attendees and possibly exceeding ten thousand. A grand arrangement with 700 police officers mobilized for security measures, including checkpoints and identity verifications at entrances and intersections. The elaborate ceremony also includes rented spaces for mourning attendees and a massive convoy of luxury cars escorting Wu Tongtan's remains back to Keelung from New Taipei City.
