A consultancy company in Banqiao run by members of the Bamboo Union gang promised to help young people secure youth loans, but instead used their personal information to apply for loans and turn them into fronts for fraud syndicates. The police discovered the scam and arrested 14 individuals involved, estimating that they had fraudulently obtained over 36 million NT dollars. The gang targeted young adults by offering fast loan application services and then used their bank accounts for fraudulent activities, deceiving at least 30 victims. The deceptive scheme was exposed, revealing the gang's true intentions of swindling people under the guise of aiding entrepreneurs.
