Gary Sánchez hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the eighth inning as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Chicago Cubs 6-4, winning three out of four games in the series. The game marked Cubs manager Craig Counsell's return to American Family Field, where he was showered with boos. Despite the Cubs rallying with game-tying homers, Sánchez's homer secured the win for the Brewers. Cody Bellinger, Seiya Suzuki, and Christopher Morel homered for the Cubs, while the Brewers' Brice Turang also contributed to the win.
