All hospitals in the Gaza Strip are set to cease operations within 48 hours due to the depletion of fuel needed to run generators, according to a statement issued by the Gaza health department. A few hospitals, oxygen stations, and medical centers that are currently operational will all stop functioning within the specified timeframe. The ongoing fuel shortage adds to the already critical situation in Gaza, where hospitals have faced bombing, ground attacks, and medical supply shortages, with the remaining operational hospitals now facing closure as well. The health department has called for urgent intervention from international organizations and humanitarian institutions to provide the necessary fuel.
