General Electric Co. CEO Larry Culp has declined Boeing's request to consider taking over as the U.S. planemaker's top boss. Culp had previously stated that he was not interested in the job, emphasizing that he can best serve Boeing as its supplier. Boeing has faced safety concerns and production issues, such as the FAA's restriction on expanding production of the 737 MAX jets and quality problems with the 787 Dreamliner.
